Royal Mail Strikes

The CWU has formally notified Royal Mail they plan to call on their members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take national strike action on the following days:

Friday 9th December
Sunday 11th December
Wednesday 14th December
Thursday 15th December

We’re really sorry for the disruption that this strike action is likely to cause to you. We want to reassure you we will do everything we can to minimise disruption and get your orders delivered to your door as quickly as possible.

Royal Mail has well-developed contingency plans, but they cannot fully replace the daily efforts of its frontline workforce. We will be doing what we can to keep disruptions to an absolute minimum.

That being said, we have now begun using DPD as an alternative postal carrier to ensure your parcels are delivered on-time.
